About
me
I've worked in various industries, designing everything from funeral programs and memorial booklets to presentations used in court proceedings. In addition to design, I also create art and have participated in several group shows both locally and in other states.
In each role, I've interfaced closely with clients, worked creatively to solve problems, and delivered creative product under time constriants.
Presentation Design
2022 – Presentation Design
As a graphic designer with IMS Consulting & Expert Services, I work on various projects, preparing and consulting attorneys on graphics and presentations for use during trials. Not only is this exciting, as the challenges and knowledge base for each project are unique, but I am lucky to work with some of the top trial attorneys in the U.S. and abroad. It is truly a humbling an awe-inspiring experience.
Book
Design
I first had an opportunity to design book covers while employed with Fountainhead Press. I loved designing both covers and text! Below is a selection of my cover designs.
The University of North Texas Press works on a lot of cowboy, Texas Ranger, and Western-themed books, and I've had the joy of designing covers for a couple of them. Additionally, I've had some opportunities to design books for Legacy Books.

Kelly was amazing. Her work was outstanding and really helped us to advance our project. She was also very flexible with my delays in getting her information. Super kind, great listener, creative designer, very friendly. Highly recommend!

Huston-Tillotson University
Kelly was everything and more that we needed for this project. Her technical skills made the resulting plan a success from the first mock-ups, but beyond that, the process of working with her was seamless. Her communications were timely and clear, and we were able to easily discuss our needs. Technically, the process of collaborating remotely was smooth. Kelly kept the work clearly labeled, and she left us with a set of files that we can easily use. It was wonderful to share about Huston-Tillotson with her, and Kelly connected to the passion we have as the HT community for the university. I would highly recommend Kelly, and I look forward to finding another opportunity to collaborate with her.

Kelly's quiet proficiency is a pleasure to have on a team, especially in high-stress situations. It's a relief when she's assigned to work on a project with me because I know that I can depend on her to be there when I need her. I routinely witness her volunteering to help others and take on extra responsibilities.
