Owner & Operator (April 2014–May 2015)
This was my first attempt at starting a business and, while ultimately, this company did not pan out, I learned a lot. I made soap and body products, ran marketing, photography, copywriting, editing, created and maintained online shop listings, and researched and developed new products.
Barista (August 2009–May 2014)
Starbucks
Responsible for customer service, order preparation, money handling, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store and workspace. Learned customer service and how to work under pressure.

Art Consultant (May 2009–December 2012)
Consulted on art submissions and offered curatorial input for Volumes 2 & 3 of Moulin Review.

Digital Design Intern (2010)
App Aces
Produced graphics for use in Web, iPhone 3, and iPhone 4 applications under the direction of the designer on staff.

Designer (April 2009–May 2009)
As the designer for the Moulin Review, I had a tight deadline (1 week) to design and layout a literary and art magazine. I worked closely with the editors to create and refine their vision of what they wanted the magazine to be.
Responsibilities included: layout and design of the publication, ensuring the quality of images for print, assisting with curation of images, and written submissions.

Layout Editor (January 2008–May 2009)
Designed biweekly student news publication, prepared files for print, maintained tight deadlines, coordinated with various members of Courier staff.
In addition to publication design, I illustrated for The Courier.

Warehouse & Office Assistant (September 2007–March 2009)
Responsible for myriad tasks, including shipping/receiving, fulfillment of orders, organization of the warehouse, inventory control, secretarial duties, and occasionally processing invoices.

Visual Artist (1990–Present)
From the time I could hold a pencil, I pursued fine art (primarily drawing and painting) and the power of visual media in exploring psychology, expression of self and environment, and human connections to themselves, others, and their habitats.
In addition to personal art, I also design and create for friends and family - often helping with publication design, graphic design, apparel design, artwork to complement the music, and portraiture.
